Escape the hustle and bustle of center Hanoi, we cruise the boat along with the Red river and get to visit some ancient temples and the ceramic heaven of Bat Trang village. See locals’ life and handicraft

Itinerary

7:45 – 8:30 am:  Our car will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Chuong Duong Do wharf. Then, we get on boat to start your Red River Boat trip. Leaving the noisy sounds of city, you will be immersed yourself in the rural beauty of Vietnam’s village along the river banks with sandy beaches and the unlimited green corn field. You also admire the longest bridge of Dong Duong, Thanh Tri bridge.

After 1.5 hours, we step ashore to visit Dam temple and Dai Lo temple, hear about the history of the ancient and sacred temples on the banks of the Red River and find out Vietnamese religions

Then keep boating until we reach the next temple, Chu Dong Tu temple.

12:30 pm: while on the way back, we have lunch on the boat and as soon as we finish our lunch, we arrive in Bat Trang village where it has built reputation as the pottery village of Ha Noi.

2:00 pm: After lunch, we disembark and start a next exploration at the ceramic heaven, Bat Trang village. We walk in the alleys in the old part of this town. Bat Trang is a village filled with hundreds of pottery shops, here you can see a wide range of pottery items and it is fascinating to watch every aspect of how clay becomes your daily household goods (pots, cups, bowls, vessels..) at ceramic-making workshops and you even can play with clay and make different interesting shapes. You can also buy items as souvenirs with the high quality.

It is also a great time to guide your children and let them be creative for making their own pottery.

4:30 pm: Back to Hanoi and say goodby to the captain
